During my studies for a degree in music at Falmouth University in 2016, I became interested in the idea of teaching, after undertaking the ‘skills for music leaders’ module.

In September 2017 I decided to dedicate my final year of studies to learning about ethics in music education, and began to work with the Cornwall Music Service Trust. Initially I shadowed three guitar teachers and one violin teacher, learning how to work with children aged 6-16.

In 2019 I launched my teaching practice, and now give regular lessons to people aged between 6 and 80! My specialities are private acoustic and electric guitar, and I run a ukulele club based in Falmouth. Since 2021 I have also given online lessons on Skype and Zoom.
